Deep cave explorations |
During the presentation Krisztof will depict the most interesting issues concerning his explorations during the last 15 years. Among other, he will speak of the means of measurement the depth of Hranicka Propast Cave (-404m) in Czech Republic, where, after having passed the restriction on 200 m he had to deploy the probe deeper. He will also talk about Albanian Viroit Cave (-279m), where he struggled with implosion and low temperatures, there will be a short chapter on the attempts to connect Dos Ojos and Sac Actun systems, where he passed many restrictions on considerable depths and where he dove on 100 m and resurfaced for multiple times during one dive. Also he will speak of horizontal explorations on 200 m in Macedonian Matka Vrelo Cave (-240m), along with French St Sauveur (the project’s being finished just now). And, of course, he will talk depict the process of habitats, BM and SM rebreathers, drillers, underwater navigation systems engineering along with all that’s useful while deep and distant exploration. |
